During the 2022 holiday season, Signature Management Corporation partnered with the US Marine Corps 75th Anniversary Toys for Tots Toy Drive to collect new, unwrapped toys for economically disadvantaged children across our region.
Over the course of two weeks in early December, our teams at our corporate office and at all 10 communities gathered toys, books and games donated by residents, employees and vendors. On December 16th, our corporate finance team traveled to all of our properties to collect and distribute these gifts to the Toys for Tots team in Norfolk, VA.
The mission of the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation is to assist the U. S. Marine Corps in providing a tangible sign of hope to economically disadvantaged children at Christmas. During the 2022 holiday season, our local Marine Toys for Tots program distributed 136,843 toys, books and games to 27,219 children. Nationally, Marine Toys for Tots distributed over 24.3 million toys, books, and games to over 9.9 million children in need.
The team at Signature Management was honored to partner with them during this hallmark 75th year in operation. We thank everyone who gave in support of this important organization and made this fundraiser a success for the second year in a row.
